VCheck checks for changes in the contents of the active system folder, the boot blocks, and on all applications on all mounted volumes. It does not remove viruses, but simply warns of their possible existence by detecting “dangerous” resources. VCheck keeps a checksum file for all of the above items for comparison purposes. VCheck is written in Turbo Pascal and source is available.

VCheck suffers from the same fault as AntiViral. There are too many legitimate ways to change the size of a file for a size checking program to be useful in detecting a virus.
